PRESS RELEASE
True Group, a Leicestershire-based plant hire and construction support group, has unveiled a striking new Komatsu 8-tonne excavator wrapped in a bespoke colourful dot design available to hire to help raise funds and awareness for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.
The eye-catching machine, which proudly features the Rainbows Hospice branding and logo, has been added to the True Group’s hire fleet. The bespoke design, graphic production and installation were provided by Poly Graphics Ltd, who are supporting the initiative with free graphic design and wrapping services. A percentage of every hire will be donated directly to the charity, ensuring that every job the excavator works on helps support children and families across the East Midlands.
Rainbows Hospice provides vital care and support to babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, both at its hospice, in hospitals, and in family homes across the East Midlands.
Hannah Meisuria, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People added: “Support from businesses like True Group makes a real difference to the children and families we care for. This initiative not only helps raise vital funds but also increases awareness of our work within the local community and construction industry. We’re grateful for their continued support.”
The initiative reflects True Group’s commitment to giving back to the communities it operates in, while using its day-to-day construction activities as a platform for positive impact.
Craig Flowers, Group Operations Director at True Group, said: “We wanted to create something that delivers real, ongoing support rather than a one-off donation. This excavator allows us to contribute to Rainbows Children’s Hospice every time it goes out on hire. The colourful design also helps raise awareness on site and starts conversations about the incredible work the charity does for children and their families.”
It is hoped the colour-wrapped Komatsu excavator will turn heads on construction sites and across social media, helping to shine a spotlight on Rainbows Hospice while demonstrating how the construction and plant hire industry can play a meaningful role in supporting local causes
True Group hopes the initiative will inspire other businesses across the construction sector to explore creative ways of supporting charities within their local communities.
